Holman's was founded in 1955 by E.S. Holman, and served primarily as a map and drafting supply store. As the needs advanced and the
technical professional evolved, Holman's expanded its focus to include high-tech computing and automated Computer Aided Drafting (CAD)
systems; along with advanced survey solutions including Global Positioning Satellite (GPS) system solutions.
Today, Holman's Precision Computing Division specializes in sales, service, and support of Hewlett-Packard and Apple products and solutions
- including desktops, laptops, mobile computing, computer networks, workstations, color printers, large-format printers/plotters, and
scanners.
Holman's Professional Measurement Division offers sales and support of Topcon GPS and surveying equipment, Navman Wireless Fleet Tracking
devices, Virtual Geomatics Smart LiDAR software, ESRI Software, and more. These solutions are offered to the federal government on GSA
Schedule GS-07F-9235S. Many of these products and services are also available on state contracts for New Mexico and Arizona.
Holman's has contracts with many DOE laboratories, including Sandia National Laboratories, Los Alamos National Laboratory, Oak Ridge
National Laboratory, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, Argonne National Laboratory, Brookhaven National Laboratory, and National
Renewable Energy Laboratory. Holman's also has a contract with Bernalillo County to sell computers and peripherals.
Our retail store is located at 6201 Jefferson St. NE in Albuquerque, NM. The store offers maps, custom maps (printed on demand),
CAD/surveying supplies and equipment, drafting supplies, printer media, books, scientific calculators, and a lot more.
Holman's continues to grow and diversify in the new economy. We have recently added Navman Wireless to our solutions roster, offering
costs-saving fleet tracking solutions for corporate and government accounts. Holman's has also recently become a Virtual Geomatics, Inc.
(VGI) software dealer, which is the market leader in LiDAR processing, change detection, and classification of 3-D assets.
Our hallmark of excellence in customer satisfaction and quality service is unmatched in the industry. We have in-house service and
delivery, with a full value-added distribution center. Holman's also has dedicated customer service staff, providing a single
point-of-contact for many customers.
Holman's Inc. will be transitioning to Holman's USA, LLC beginning in January 2012. Primarily serving the western United States for many
years, Holman's is now a national business, serving customers in every state of the union. In addition to our 31,500 sq. ft. corporate
sales/service/retail headquarters in Albuquerque, Holman's growth includes offices in Tempe, AZ, Golden, CO, Livermore, CA, Oak Ridge, TN;
and Los Alamos, NM.
