In Memory of JOHN SANTORU

We honor the life and legacy of John Santoru, President and CEO of HOLMANS USA, whose vision, leadership, and unwavering commitment helped shape our company into the nationally recognized IT services organization it is today. John passed away at the age of 58, leaving behind a legacy defined not only by business success, but by integrity, generosity, and a profound respect for people.

John’s journey with HOLMANS began while he was a student at the University of New Mexico, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in economics in 1992. Starting as a distribution specialist, he rose through the ranks with determination and purpose, becoming President and Co-Owner in 2010, and ultimately CEO and sole owner in 2022. His leadership was marked by a deep belief in investing in people—demonstrated through initiatives that supported employee growth, and fostered a culture where every team member could see a future within the company.

Beyond HOLMANS, John was a pillar of the New Mexico business community. He served on the boards of the National Hispanic Cultural Center Foundation, the Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce, and the Greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce. Known for his warmth and generosity, John was someone others could always count on—someone who never met a stranger and whose enthusiasm left a lasting impression on everyone he encountered.

John was more than a leader—he was a mentor, a friend, and a source of inspiration. He led with conviction and believed deeply in doing business the right way, with integrity and respect at the forefront of every decision. His impact on HOLMANS USA and the broader community is immeasurable, and his legacy will continue to guide us forward.

John is survived by his wife, Sarah; his children, Zach and Meghan; and his mother, Tata. We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him. We honor John Santoru’s life by carrying forward his values, his vision, and his enduring commitment to people.
